In the development of All New Honda CBR250RR lightweight supersport motorcycle as best in class in its class has formulated several goals for each section, namely:
Styling
The line starts from look sharp side down, the front of ducking to the aft rear tapered so that it presents the silhouette of an aggressive drive to position in controlling the new engine-powered. A large proportion on the front presents a display of fierce like a predator ready to pounce.
Chassis
Arm swinging type of gull-arm made of aluminum through the process of Gravity Dies Casting (GDC) results in a reduction in unsprung weight and maximize exhaust layout for closer to the center of the grafitasi but still optimizing the angle of the slope when the maneuver. Swinging arm is connected to the main frame using the Pro-Link suspension.
Power unit
To make a very compact machine, many of the technologies that are applied like putting primary drivers gearske in the cam chain, oil pump on the right side which is integrated with the machine, placing a respiratory machine in the back of the cylinder, and put a water pump on cylinder head as implemented in RC213V. The width of the new 2-cylinder engine this is almost the same as the 1-cylinder engine in the same capacity, thanks to the technologies applied in this new machine.
Electronics and control systems
To provide optimal control for the rider, has implemented the latest technology i.e. throttle-by-wire or known as TBW. The all New Honda CBR250RR is a first-in-class models that apply the system of TBW. This model presents a smooth acceleration and stable precision.
